Our standard style backpack for the basset horn has all the room you’re needing. There are three separate pockets on the front. The main compartment holds your basset horn case.
What about the inside? It is fully insulated. Our specially made ultra-suede lining is thickly quilted with an insulative mylar layer. The mylar regulates the internal temperature, which means your instrument will not experience wild fluctuations going in and out of doors - winter or summer.
How do you carry it? This is the backpack version. The curved backpack straps have an adjustable sternum strap. This helps to secure the bag to your body when clipped in. The backpack straps can unclip and tuck in to a sleeve. There is a shoulder strap that clips on to carry as a shoulder bag. A rubber shoulder pad helps keep it comfortable. Padded handles also add another comfortable carry option.
Choose the outer shell layer -
1680 denier ballistic nylon packcloth has a superior tear strength and abrasion resistance. If you need something bombproof, and plan on running through the wringer, ballistic is the way to go.
420D nylon packcloth is a also sturdy, but a lighter weight. If weight is an issue, 420D is the better option.
